What is it about singing in a group that brings people so much joy?

Dumbo Feather presents The Joy of Group Singing, an observational documentary that explores the transformative power of music.

Weaving together rehearsal footage, day-in-the-life snippets and intimate interviews, we chatted with people from different walks of life to reveal their connection to singing: how they got started, what they love about it, and why they keep doing it.

The act of singing offers something unique to each of these people, and it is a vital thread from which they draw inspiration, nourishment, meaning and connection.

We'd love to thank to Anna, Dylan, Harjinder and Marg for sharing their stories and their time with us and Rose Capp, Jane Murone and Dan Greig for welcoming Dumbo Feather into their choir spaces. For more on the Keytones and the Carpark Choir, check out their websites:
