David Redfern, 46, has been sentenced in Caernarfon Crown Court for the murder of Margaret Barnes, 71, in July 2022.

Redfern was accused of kicking or stamping on Ms Barnes, inflicting liver injuries on her which the pathologist described as being similar to those seen in car crash victims.
