Our Chief Executive Officer Dr Martina Garcia interviews Jeannette Lichner, Non-Executive Director at the Financial Conduct Authority and Chair at Elucidate GmBh on the role and objectives of the FCA, fintech and scaling up challenges, sustainable finance and cultural change and diversity.

Jeannette is also generously sharing information on what inspired her professionally, what she would do differently – knowing what she knows at present, and what are some of the critical challenges she is facing in her current role.

Jeannette Lichner is Non-Executive Director at the Financial Conduct Authority. She has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry in a variety of roles. Her first 20 years were in wholesale banking where she held senior roles in numerous functions including Operations, Finance, Corporate Finance and Regulatory Compliance at firms including Morgan Stanley and Bank of America. She is currently Chair of Elucidate GmBh, a data-driven financial crime ratings company, and a trustee of Local Trust, a community empowering charity funded by the UK Community fund, where she chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. She is also a member of the Global Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia, of which she is an alumnus.
