Tom Bower’s new biography of Meghan Markle will make the Duke and Duchess of Sussex furious according to one royal expert. The Mail on Sunday’s Charlotte Griffiths says that the couple – and their PR representatives Sunshine Sachs – will be scouring the revelations.
‘They will be going apoplectic about this book,’ she says. ‘They’ll probably be saying ‘oh it’s just noise’ in public, but they be reading every single word. They’ve probably asked someone from Sunshine Sachs to go through it as well to see where they can get their lawyers out.’
The release comes ahead of a busy few months for the Sussexes, who are expected to launch Meghan’s podcast on Spotify, a Netflix docuseries and Prince Harry’s eagerly anticipated memoirs. All are expected to generate multiple headlines, and the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English says she fears what effect the potential negative publicity will have on the Queen.
