In this video, we show you how we painted the roof of our narrowboat out in the open. We did preparations a few days before while Alba was undercover being blacked, check the previous episode for the challenges and mistakes of stripping paint and treating rust on the roof of a 29-year-old narrowboat. Alba is going back in the water today with only one layer of primer on the roof.

While Alba was getting blacked we moved to an Airbnb nearby where we took full advantage of their washing machine. They must have sensed we were coming as they let us use the biggest drying rack we’ve ever seen in our lives.
