The Welga Archive, Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies at UC Davis is proud to steward the Liz Fenkell Papers. Liz is a Filipina American activist from Sacramento County who was instrumental in leading anti-martial law efforts against the Marcos Dictatorship in the Philippines, organizing events for the Filipino progressive agenda, and building community with Sacramento’s Filipino population through annual commemoration events. Through Liz and Tim Fenkell’s own words, we’ll hear how these collections relate to their life histories and how these memories connect with Sacramento’s Filipino Community.

The Welga Archive, Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies at UC Davis preserves and provides access to Filipino American and Filipino Diasporic History.
