As a lover of the obscure and underappreciated in Final Fantasy such as 13 or Dirge Of Cerberus, I was very excited to play this one for the first time. Final Fantasy VIII stands as arguably the most contentious entry in the entire series. Following up the beloved Final Fantasy VII, the game had the deck stacked against it, but has time been kind to this one? Well, I played for the first time and found out.
