After less than a week, The Day Before developer Fntastic has announced its closure. The open-world survival MM - sorry, the extraction shooter entered early access on Steam and received an "Overwhelmingly Negative" rating.

The studio then announced its closure, claiming the title had failed financially. For many, it's the end of a sordid saga that began in 2021, with the tease of something interesting, before delays, an engine change, a trademark dispute and several controversies came to light. Throughout it all, many were skeptical that the game existed - now they wish it didn't.
