An appeals court panel in New York voted 4-3 to overturn Harvey Weinstein's rape conviction there based on trial judge's introduction of predjudicial accounts of other instances of his sexual predation. The NYC DA has promised to retry the case. Questions remain about what this will mean for Weinstein's CA conviction and whether this judicial precedent might give Trump his own window for appealing the NY fraud case on similar grounds.
