I visited Etowah Indian Mounds in June of 2023. The Etowah Indian Mounds were the home of Indians (Native Americans) from about 1000 AD to 1550 AD. This site is considered part of the Mississippian Culture in the Southeast. The Etowah Indian Mounds has hiking trails, a museum, visitor film.
