Today we're making the Harvest Moon Punch! This drink is great for your upcoming fall party. It's an original of mine based on a classic punch build. Black tea adds volume, and cuts down on the ABV (the drink is very sessionable). This is a half batch, but the recipe is scalable. So if you plan on serving a larger group and want to fill a punch bowl, just double the recipe! Cheers!

12 oz. (360 ml) Appleton Estate 12 year Rum
9 oz. (270 ml) Laird’s BIB Straight Apple Brandy
6 oz. (180 ml) Rothman & Winter Orchard Pear Liqueur
3 oz. (90 ml) St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
6 oz. (180 ml) rich Demerara syrup (2:1 sugar:water)
9 oz. (270 ml) fresh lemon juice
24 oz. (720 ml) black tea (chilled)
Grated nutmeg for garnish
