For this 2022 new beginning, we decided our theme would revolve around Netflix's most popular show of 2021... “Squid Game”! Money is on the line! In years past, we simply adopted a theme and then took turns jumping into the freezing water and swimming across the pool as fast as we could. This year we switched things up and competed in 4 different rounds for a grand prize of money pot of $1200 (equivalent of $100 per participant).

Each round o this Polar Plunge challenge was based loosely on games seen in Netflix's Squid Game... from the “Red Light, Green Light” to Tug of War, we tried to replicate the games as best we could with what we had available while still incorporating the FREEZING water in every round. We ordered all of the best costumes online plenty in advance, but due to supply chain issues only a few of them showed up in time. So we had to scramble and piece together our costuming as best we could with what we had lying around the house.
