Books featuring animals are a must around here! Good thing that most baby books are about animals. Animal sounds are the first words my son learned. It started with "cluck-cluck" and now he can say over ten animal sounds!! Babies and animals are like two peas in a pod* They go together so naturally. This book is a guessing book with little clues to guess the animal hiding behind the flap. The only page my son understood was the duck hiding behind the frog. He got that one right because I said "Quack". Yeah, I gave it away, made it too easy!🦆 He really enjoyed this book, the illustrations are full of detail, so I was able to spend quite a while pointing out to all the different things going on in each page. And now that he is older I ask him to point to specific things and he has a blast looking for them. When he gets them right I praise him and he seems so proud!
It's so nice to see his comprehension come to life!
