Update to this Video there is now a GM option available for the 6L80. Both seem to work the same.

The SURE-COOL is a must-have for the 14+ 6L80 and 6L90 transmission. From the factory, they have a cooler thermostat that doesn't open until 190F. The sure cool allows cooler flow at all times. This is a beginner-level upgrade and well worth the money!
