Starting a new Saltwater Aquarium, transferring aquariums or upgrading your tank can all affect the cycle of your system. On a new system you need to established your nitrogen cycle. On an upgrade you can cause a mini cycle which could have a negative impact on your system. To combat this we are adding live beneficial bacteria to the tank. This round i decided to try out Fritz Turbostart 900 which is highly concentrated bottle of nitrifying bacteria which helps rapidly eliminate ammonia and nitrite.
