We see events like the Met Gala or the Grammys and a lot of us would love the chance to be one of the lucky people who get to walk the red carpet. But there’s one thing that celebrities and stylists know all too well about what happens a lot at these events: wardrobe malfunctions.

We’re not sure what it is, but there must be something about high profile events and designer gowns that seem to always call for emergency needle and thread so celebs can be sewn into their expensive ensembles. And it’s almost baffling how often this happens!

Just recently, during this year’s 2022 Met Gala, Kim Kardashian hit the red carpet donning Marilyn Monroe’s iconic nude dress from 1962. And even though she looked great, she had her fair share of complications when trying to get the dress on. A lot of us may be envious of Kim’s curves, but there can be downsides to having the perfect hourglass figure. But that’s nothing that string and a fur coat can’t fix.

The same can be said for Bella Hadid, Anne Hathaway and Chrissy Teigen, who all had to be sewn into their dresses too. So in short, shoutout to the stylists, assistants, tailors and seamstresses who were able to come through and save the day moments before some of our favorite celebs stepped onto the red carpet.
