Our journey across Skyrim turns north into the frozen Pale, and then even further to Winterhold! As this is a modded walk-through, you will find the previously destroyed city of Winterhold has been rebuilt into a cozy town, and a perfect refuge from the constant heavy wind and snow of Skyrim's northern reaches. You will make it there just in time for nightfall where you'll be able to see the spectacular northern lights!

This remaster and modlist is designed to enhance the vanilla Skyrim experience while maintaining the look, feel, and aesthetic of the original game. The only real departure from vanilla is the addition of the Great Whiterun Forest, which transforms the tundra outside Whiterun into a dense and expansive forest. The ENB can be changed to suit a darker, colder, or more fantasy-like experience, but I feel that Silent Horizons largely maintains the feel of vanilla Skyrim.
