Back with another Tunshi Studios Metal Slug review!
This time taking a look at Eri from this wave!
Sharing the same body and clothing style of the Fio figure, just like the in game sprites, there's not much difference between the two characters.
But as an action figure, the unique head sculpt and different clothing color helps to keep both girls looking unique.
Especially with all the accessories Eri comes with, we have two great weapon effects, the shotgun blast, and the laser effect, that really bring life into the characters poses.
Just like Fio, Eri shares similar problems with articulation, extremely tight fitting clothing, especially the shorts will restrict most of the range of the legs. While the clothing is high quality and made of a soft stretchy material, its just not enough to let me pose the legs in any dynamic pose.
While personally that's not that much of a issue for my taste, as a premium figure, we do pay a high price on these figures, and while the value and quality is there, its not a perfect figure.
One thing that still impresses me is just the sheer amount of accessories we get, and the quality. It always amazes me to see that one single bullet painted at the top of a magazine, a impressive detail.
Overall Eri from Tunshi Studios is a amazing figure, she represents the likeness of the in game character very well, has a more modern updated cute look, and is one of the best Metal Slug figures released yet.
Definitely worth picking them up and checking her out, i feel like figures like this are once in a lifetime.
