A recent video by popular youtuber Mrwhosetheboss showcases some of his Samsung Galaxy smartphones kept in storage have blown up batteries that have expanded and separated the back cover from the chassis.

Let's dive in and see what's going on and 2 things you can do just in case.

It is important to note that Samsung phones are not exploding, rather the batteries are "blowing up" as in "expanding".

Note: Most consumers don't store their phones so shouldn't be concerned, but also, nobody should be fully relaxed.
