Back in the early 1980's DIC partners with TMS to create an animated series based on Homer's The Odyssey called Ulysses 31 for France.

Ulysses 31 was a big hit in France. And Japan. And Australia and a bunch of other countries.

But Ulysses 31 barely registered in the United States and slipped into obscurity.
