Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching. Today, I received an urgent call to tow a semi truck and loaded trailer off the shoulder of the interstate with our Rotator #11, which is our Peterbilt 389-X with a Miller Industries, Century 1150R. Ethan and Gavon bring out our traffic control unit #16 to help traffic SLOW DOWN MOVE OVER, as well as helping me with the hookup and towing prep. It may not seem like it, but a standard, everyday tow, such as this one, is one of the most dangerous parts of our job as towing & recovery operators due to traffic and inattentive drivers. The current U.S. statistics show one towing - recovery operator struck every six days!!! That is higher than the number of police and fire struck-bys combined. So, as I always ask, please SLOW DOWN MOVE OVER for ANY person or vehicle on the side of the road. You could be saving a life and not ruining yours!!! I hope you all enjoy this video!!!
