This is a description of broad patterns of the moon that can be observed in the sky from the earth so the focus is a geocentric description specifically to help understand applications to archaeoastronomy with some explanation of the underlying mechanics.
The Archaeoastronomy Database facilitates the gathering of crowd-sourced data relating to archaeoastronomy.
