Today I got behind the wheel of a 2023 Toyota Tundra SR5 !

This slightly used 2023 Tundra is a very impressive truck with lots of new technology and features. I believe its a bit bigger than a Ford F-150, had just driven one right before the Tundra.

Overall Toyota did an excellent job with the redesign of this 3rd generation Tundra, its much more pronounced, has a new V6 TT motor with available hybrid/electric motor and it holds its own when it comes to options and abilities to the competition which is stronger than ever.

Love the exterior design its much more muscular and its proportioned just right. The interior is much improved with a very nice dash design and layout, an awesome 14" infotainment screen which has a very nice feel, its very responsive and the graphics are fantastic, sorry Ford but Toyota has you on this one. But I think that the Sync 4 system in the F-150 is easier to navigate. This Tundra comes in 6 trims, depending on your needs, it can be had from a base work truck to a basically Lexus like Capstone trim with all the bells and whistles of a luxury sedan and some. I found the interior to be comfortable and everything is well placed and the panoramic sunroof is fantastic.

Powering the new Tundra is the new iForce Twin Turbo engine with 389hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. It has excellent torque and its very smooth, but theres definitely synthetic sound being pumped into the interior and it gives it a V8 sound, I might be wrong, but its what it sounded to me. But over all its a good power pant and it also can be had with an electric motor assist which gives it 437hp and 583 lb-ft of torque, pretty impressive. Both of these engines are paired to a 10 speed auto transmission which is very smooth in its shifts.

Theres definitely a Tundra for every need and Toyota certainly is going to have a better piece of the pie in terms of sales with this awesome new Tundra. The competition has never been stronger an its going to be an interesting year to see how the sales of this Tundra are going to pan out!

This Tundra is priced at just under $49,000 (Price at the time of filming) and its pre owned with 4,000 miles.

I think Toyota did a great job with this new Tundra and their sales are going to be strong for sure.
