Yamamoto has received immense hype and is touted as one of the greatest - if not the greatest - Japanese pitchers of all time. Many also believe that not only will Yamamoto make an instant impact to the team he signs with, but he will also be one of the best pitchers in the MLB in 2024. Yamamoto is expect to sign a contract over $200 million. Shota Imanaga is also expected to be a star in the big leagues and will sign a contract nearing $100 million. When posted to MLB teams, they will be two of the best arms on the market.
