Weather in 5, 5/6/2024, The Storm Prediction Center has a rare high risk for severe thunderstorms and EF3 or higher tornadoes for much of the South Central Plains. Risk for severe weather extends from North Central Texas to South Dakota. Severe weather risk shifts eastward into the Ohio, Mississippi & Tennessee Valleys next 2 days and then to the Middle and South Atantic states Thursday.
