Are you getting error code 80010201 and 8001000A on your PS3?

I recently moved from a rural area to a urban area, and my PS3 network function stopped working after that. When I bring my PS3 back to the rural area, it works again.

After some testing, I discovered this weird network problem on only FAT PS3 models except CECHB. This is due to strong WiFi interference.

Sony PS3 uses Wi-Fi class 802.11 b which is known to be extremely sensitive to stronger signals (g,n, 11-2020, etc) and also disturbance from other items using the 2.4 GH’z bandwidth. In other words, you might have 802.11g or 802.11n signals around you that crash your PS3.

The fix is to moving your PS3 to a place with less WIFI signal and see if the network function works again.
