Jeeps and Dodge's with the 4.7L from 1999-2000 came with the 45RFE 4-speed transmission. Jeeps and Dodges from 2001 on with the 4.7 and 4.7 HO came with the 545RFE 5-speed transmission. What only a few people know is that the only difference between the two transmissions is a SOFTWARE HACK!
