The Analogman King Of Tone - one of the modern-day 'holy grail' overdrives...almost as famous for it's incredible sound as it is for the not insignificant waiting list...! ;-)

There's loads of very in-depth demos of the KOT online - so you certainly don't need me to churn out another one of those. So I decided to shoot this instead, which is a quick run-through of the basic features of the KOT....the difference between clean boost, overdrive & distortion modes; the treble trim pot; and different ways to to stack the two sides together. I briefly look at how we can use gain, level & tone to create different effects when cascading the red side into the yellow - to create volume boosts, gain boosts and even a treble booster effect.

Possibly most importantly though, we look at the difference between 'normal' gain and the High Gain mod...Analogman recommend that you get the high gain mod on the red side of the pedal. But is it right for you? How much of a difference does it actually make? All questions are answered in this video :-)

What do you think? Are you somebody who loves the KOT and is willing to wait 18 months for one? Or is it over-hyped? Comment below!
