At the age of four Jackson was diagnosed with a rare disease called Histiocytosis. After receiving chemo treatments, they thought the disease was gone. He went on to live a normal childhood, (including excelling at sports) however, as a teenager his family started noticing problems with his speech and motor skills. They did some research and found out that the disease had not actually gone away, but had in fact been attacking parts of his brain that whole time, causing irreparable damage.
This is the story of how Jackson has faced this challenge and all that comes with it with courage and faith and an amazingly positive outlook on everything that life has thrown his way.
