How do you clean coins with Hydrogen Peroxide? Can you even clean coins with Hydrogen Peroxide safely? In this video, you'll see the stunning results of what happened when I tried cleaning coins with Hydrogen Peroxide.

In my opinion, this is one of the most effective cleaning method, and the negative effects on coins are minimal. You can rinse and repeat the cleaning if you're not happy with the results. For this tutorial, I used a few coins (copper-nickel-zinc alloy) found with the metal detector.

The hydrogen peroxide is a mild antiseptic used on the skin to prevent infection of minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. You can buy it from any pharmacy.

WARNING: All DIY methods of coin cleaning will damage the coins! This video is for demonstration purposes only on coins that are only worth face value.
