I'm a bit late to the party but a new mod for Classic Sonic in Sonic generations dropped and I couldn't miss it. This mod basically overhauls Classic Sonic almost completely to feel like the genesis era Sonic games. The modders who worked on this mod did an amazing drop so make sure to check this mod out.
