How to troubleshoot misfires of your potato cannon!

The most common reason for misfires is an improper fuel mixture inside the chamber.

Fuel: Starting Fluid (Flammable Aerosol Spray) Works best for both Hot and Cold conditions.

For peak performance, this product may require Trial & Error to get the fuel mixture just right.

Some weather conditions call for more or less spray, try an extremely small amount, or up to 2 quick bursts of spray for Starting Fluid.

Diagnose Misfires:
Potato not loaded with complete seal in barrel (shoots a short distance, not powerful, or makes sound of gas shooting out chamber only)
Not enough fuel
Too much fuel
Try different fuels (Starting Fluid, or Carb Clean) (flammable aerosols such as dry lubricants also work)
Windy conditions (fuel does not spray into chamber, or stay in chamber)
"Wet" Chamber (too much fuel, it causes liquid to pool up that doesn't ignite)
