His Excellency Koji Tomita ’77, Japan’s ambassador to the United States, spent a formative year at Davidson College as part of a cohort of visiting international students. On a recent campus visit, Tomita reflected on his experiences from more than 40 years in service to his country, his time at Davidson, and the strength of the U.S.-Japan alliance.
