A furious Ray comes to lecture Scott (Pete Davidson). The two of them fight, Ray throws him in the pool. When Margie (Marisa Tomei) arrives and sees what they are doing she irates and throws both men out of the house. With nowhere to go, Scott and Ray feel bad and ashamed.

What’s the movie The King of Staten Island about?
Scott (Pete Davidson) is recognized as a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter dad died on duty when he was seven. Suffering from other medical problems such as ADHD and Crohn’s disease, marijuana addict, and currently living with his ER nurse mom Margie (Marisa Tomei), he is stuck in a life where he is incapable of committing to anything including in his relationship with Kelsey, his childhood friend. With the dream of becoming a tattoo artist, one of his numerous practices will bring him and his mom to meet Ray whom she will start dating.
Ray, who’s coincidentally also a firefighter, will bring Scott to start to question his way of living and eventually move on in his life.
