Lloyd Blankfein, the former chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs, would rather be serving in government. That, after all, is what so many Goldman leaders did. But these days Washington is mostly closed to Wall Street, and so Blankfein has been keeping himself busy trading stocks and commodities.
