A medley of songs performed live by The California Feetwarmers at Record Surplus on Record Store Day, April 22nd 2017. Grammy nominated masters of New Orleans jazz, ragtime and early swing, The California Feetwarmers are renowned for their earthy depth of character and lively performances. Based in Los Angeles, they stylishly cover and re-work old classics, re-visiting material from The Blue Ridge Playboys, Scott Joplin, The Memphis Jugband and Emile Grimshaw’s Rag Pickers. This video includes original songs by The California Feetwarmers such as “Oozlin’ Stomp” and “The Breeze That Brought Me Home” as well as a few covered tunes.
