In this video we look back at the story of teenager Adam during his first day inside a maximum-security adult prison. Adam had been arrested and sentenced to prison for attempted murder, burglary and battery with serious bodily injury. Sentenced to years behind bars, Adam told us he was actually lucky he avoided a life sentence, something the prosecutor in his case had originally recommended. During this video, we see Adam in his cell with his new cellmate, talk to both teens about life in adult prison as a teenager, and ultimately, find out where Adam is today 11 years after we first met him.
