The new 2024 Volkswagen ID.3 features a slightly revised exterior design with a number of details that enhance its appearance. The front end gets a makeover with new side air intakes in the bumper to increase the footprint on the ground. New headlamps and rear light clusters, including the red-illuminated portion, emphasize the modern design and provide better visibility on the road. The bodywork features a pleasing character design with optimized cooling vents and large painted surfaces. The new roof molding in matte silver color and the all-black roof create a decidedly harmonious contrast, emphasizing the sleek shape. The new ID.3 is available in two versions defined by the battery pack. The Pro Performance with a 58 kWh battery pack for a range of up to 429 km. Superior in equipment and range is the Pro S with a 77 kWh battery pack for 558 km of range. The electric motor in the new VW ID.3 is located in the rear and generates a power output of 150 kW with 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque. The rear-wheel drive, already proven in the first generation, provides great handling and traction. The interior of the new ID.3 has been improved in a sustainable way. By using high-quality materials, the cabin feels more cozy and upscale than the previous generation. Door and seat covers are made of ArtVelours Eco microfiber, which consists of recycled material. The hard surfaces of the dashboard and doors have been reshaped with softer, larger materials, while the integrated handrests are now more spacious and prominent. Precise stitching in contrasting colors, gives the cabin a successful combination of futuristic and traditional design.
