This class is designed to introduce and teach the basics of ballet to a true beginner. It will include elementary positions of classical ballet, some lyrical inspired ballet and instruction will focus on proper alignment in a casual, fun and non-threatening atmosphere. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to take a ballet class as an adult who never learnt how to dance as a child? Or perhaps you’d like to take your love for dance and learn how to have more grace, technique and style? This would be the class for you. Ballet attire and shoes are not required, come as you are in your fitness inspired clothing and wear your socked or bare feet. There is no bar, no hard fast rules or prima ballerina attitudes in this informal yet fun filled class.
