The heartache of grief can make it tempting to talk with a departed loved one. Yet, the Bible gives specific warnings against talking to deceased people, as this video explains. Ex new age medium Doreen Virtue compassionately shares what the Bible says about dealing with grief and why we can’t communicate with deceased people. The often-twisted Bible verse Hebrews 12:1 about the great cloud of witnesses is referring to the Old Testament inspirational heroes of faith which were outlined in Hebrews 11. The cloud of witnesses is not our deceased loved ones, and the Bible does not ever endorse talking to deceased people or saints. Jesus is our only mediator between humanity and our Father God (1 Timothy 2:5). In addition, this video explains the spiritual dangers of talking to unclean spirits who impersonate our deceased loved ones, as Doreen Virtue herself experienced when a demon pretended to be her departed grandmother.  The video also discusses signs and omens as further deception - and why it’s futile to look for meaning in butterflies and birds in hopes that they are messages from heaven.
