Womanhood is a visual exploration of my feelings around one aspect of femininity. Intuition! Women have this innate ability to "just know" and get feelings about a person, or situation almost instantaneously. When we learn to listen to these feelings we can navigate through life with guidance, consciously creating the situations we want to be a part of. Don't get me wrong, men can experience this too, as we are all a unique mix of masculine and feminine, and we are all connected to mother earth. However woman seem to be able to connect to their feelings and intuition a lot easier then men. Men, on the other hand can connect to their physical body and the physical world easier then women (generally but not exclusively).
Feminine energy is the guidance system needed for this world to navigate properly! Nature isn't called a mother for no reason! Female bodies bring life into this world! When we cut ourselves of from nature we cut ourselves of from the life energy that birthed us, it is like cutting yourself off from your own mother. We need nature to support and nurture us!
In this video i visually merge nature with femininity to represent feminine power, intuition, and emotional intelligence. Well that was the idea anyway!
