When I filmed this video it was VERY timely and relevant because I had started early enough for it to be done the week after then Grammys, when I assumed a Midnights retrospective would be the Most Relevant. I was extremely proud until Taylor came in and wrecked my plans. Did the extra credit but got graded on a curve, as it were. But I think the new album announcement might make this an even better time to look back on the Midnights era and try to sort out what, exactly, we got. Because it was certainly an era. But I’m not sure it was an album.
