A Treasury minister says the mayor of Brussels was wrong to shut down a conservative conference because it featured far-right figures.

Nigel Farage and former home secretary Suella Braverman were among those appearing alongside the Hungarian prime minster Viktor Orban and French far-right politician Eric Zemmou at the National Conservatism Conference.

The conference was halted by a local mayor to ensure public security.

Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Laura Trott, told Kay Burley she disagreed with the "no platforming" of people who were expressing legal views.
