We review the updated Volvo S60 T8 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid Black Edition, which rolls a 40-mile EV range and 455HP. This limited run makes a case for trying something different on the technical side as well as mastering understated luxury. We discuss the good and the bad and engineering changes. Others to consider are BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 A5 Genesis G70, and Lexus IS ES.
