On the evening of February 24th, 2024, a crew went to work in Bay City to put together the Lake State Railway's grain extra, bound for Standish, Michigan. The chase begins along the Saginaw River, as we follow the two Ex-Union Pacific SD70Ms that are painted in the nice LSRC current blue/silver paint scheme. #6435 and #6432 pull the 60+ empty hoppers north on the old Detroit and Mackinaw Railroad.

The chase continues as we see the train weave through Defoe Park, and then enter the Huron and Eastern's Genesee Yard. We will wrap up the chase before sunset in Kawkawlin passing over the Kawkawlin River and Greene's Propane.
