It is so magical on this show when the contestants, despite competing against one another, can come together to make something magical. They did wonderfully here. I also relate to this song because of its message about becoming awake to reality and building yourself up after falling from cloud 9, which I have had to do numerous times, be it overcoming a grad school rejection or an unjustified friendship breakup. It is hard, but music helps get me through! Thanks to Katy Perry and the wonderful Idol top 8. Kaibrienne, I know you just got eliminated, but if you get the chance to see this, you were one of my favorites and you should be proud of the positive impact you are making in the world through what you have accomplished on the show, and hopefully will achieve in the coming years!
