John 3:16. It's on billboards, in football stadiums, on t-shirts. It's one of the first Bible verses we learn to recite. And yet, its spiritual importance still has been diminished by familiarity and tradition.
Too many not-yet-believers still hold back from receiving Jesus because they think they're not good enough for God. Church elders tell people "you don't belong here". Theologians opine that you can't really know for sure if you're saved.
