The SS (Super Sport) name has a long and storied heritage with Chevrolet. From all the way back in the 60's, the SS name signified the best performance Chevrolet had to offer. Including the Camaro, Nova, Impala, and Monte Carlo to name a few. This means that giving a Chevrolet sedan the moniker "SS," is a pretty big deal.

The Chevrolet SS sedan embodies all the usual Super Sport qualities. A very healthy Chevrolet 6.2L LS3 engine, beautiful bucket seats, and Brembo brakes to tie the package together. The special part about the SS sedan though, is the true LS3/6L80e drivetrain. In typical fashion, I bought one of the worst condition ones that the salvage auction had to offer. That doesn't mean that this won't be a standout performer on the Salvage Story leader board though!
