In this video, I'll show you 10 sensational tricks and ideas how you can use your Insta360 X3 or any other Insta360 camera. The Insta360 X3 is one of the most versatile cameras and perfect for creative filmmakers.

0:47 Tracking POV Shot
For this I recommend you, to use a mouth mount to get the best results. Create a POV Shot with your Insta360 X3 where you hold an object in your hand and then move it around. You can throw it, catch it, or film a ball sport such as tennis or soccer.
The real work is done in post-processing. Find the spot where you want to start tracking your object. Then reframe the image, so that the object always stays in the center of the image.

2:38 Portal Water Jump
Create the first shot where you jump into the water. Dive your Insta360 X3 in the water, when the person enters the water. In another environment, do the same thing but in reverse. Guide your Insta360 X3 in parallel and follow the motion of the person. Because the Insta360 X3 is waterproof, this is also possible without a housing. You now have the raw material for the "Portal Water Jump".

4:35 Motion ND Shots
This feature is a new in Insta360 Studio and makes your shots look more natural and cinematic.
Nothing other than a motion blur effect is created here. If the effect is too strong or not strong enough, you can adjust the Spread and Intensity parameters in the "Media Processing Tab".

6:21 Fake Drone Zoom
Attach your Insta360 X3 to a long telescopic stick and create a shot where you film a person from above. After you recorded the scene, open the footage in Insta360 Studio and set a keyframe at the start of the Shot. Select the view mode "Natural View". At the end of the shot, set the second keyframe. There you zoom out as far as you like and also change the rotation.

9:40 SloMo Run
Use the SloMo video function of your Insta360 X3 to create breathtaking running SloMo shots. Just go to the standard video mode and set it to 3K/ 100fps. Then mount your Insta360 X3 on the Invisible selfie stick and start shooting.

10:44 Dive Transition
In the first shot you film a person who swims and the dives underwater. The second shot is at a different location. There the person dives up and at the same time you bring the Insta360 X3 up. You make the cut exactly when the person dives up and the Insta360 X3 comes to the water surface.

11:32 Planet Landing
This trick looks like a spaceship or drone is landing on a planet. The trick is perfect if you are on a mountain or a beautiful viewpoint. Move your Insta360 X3 from top to bottom while moving forward.

Although underwater shots with the Insta360 X3 are also possible without a housing, I recommend you to use the invisible dive case to unleash its full potential underwater.

Everybody will believe you fly a real FPV drone. Look for a suitable environment where you can create an interesting shot with a long telescope stick. It's best to start from high up and then move the Insta360 X3 further down a cliff. To simulate a FPV drone flight, you need a very wide-angle reframed image. To simulate a fast dive, increase the FOV parameter on the first keyframe to get an ultra wide angle image. Now set further keyframes where you simulate the flight of an FPV drone. For better results activate "Motion ND"!

18:13 Time flies effect
Here a standard video footage is merged with a timelapse. In the first step, you record a standard Shot of any scene. After you have created the standard recording, set up your Insta360 X3 in the same environment and create a timelapse. I would recommend recording the timelapse with an 8K resolution to get the best quality. The sky can be keyed out with the Luma key effect.
