Descaling is essential to remove the extra minerals that build up in your coffee machine as you use it as they might affect the taste of your brew. Learn how to descale quickly and easily with these simple instructions:

1. Empty the Precision Brewer® Thermal water tank.
2. Dissolve one packet of descaler into 34oz of warm water and pour into the tank.
3. Make sure your filter and carafe are in place as if for use.
4. Hold down the select button for three seconds and select the descale cycle; this will take roughly 30 minutes.
5. After the cycle, empty and refill the tank and rebrew twice using only water to ensure all descaler is removed from the machine.
6. Continue using your Precision Brewer® Thermal for the perfect daily brew.
